    The University website will be undergoing updates for the design of a new corporate header. The WEB site will be available as will the Content management but there will no publishing of pages during the course of the day of Tuesday 18th December.

    issue with the Institutional Login will be stopping people logging in.  The issue is being worked on

    This weekend the Library systems will be unavailable to allow the monthly software update to be applied.

    This will be taking place between 23:00 on Saturday 29 February and 01:00 on Sunday 1 March 2020. 
    During this time our systems may be unavailable for up to 2 hours.

    Library systems being unavailable has the following impact:

    -      Self-issue machines will not allow books to be borrowed

    -      Returns machine will accept books but they will not be removed from the user's record 

    -      Locations and availabilities will not show on SUPrimo

    -      Users will be unable to log in to MyAccount in SUPrimo

    -      Library services in the Strathclyde APP will be unavailable

    -      Links to full text articles from PrimoCentral and other users of our link resolver will not be available

    -      Leganto reading lists will be unavailable

    To allow essential maintenance and upgrades to the campus internet connections, all network access to/from campus is subject to disruption on Monday 21st December between 9am and 1pm. While we do not anticipate any long outages, there may be a number of brief breaks in service.


    The University is, of course, closed on that days.

    Issues occurred today impacting on Sharepoint.  Sharepoint, while now fully available, should be regarded as being at risk.

    MAINTENANCE Planned Maintenance - From: 08/06/2020 21:00 To: 08/06/2020 21:30

    Essential maintenance will be carried out on parts of our campus filestore on Monday 8 June

    To enable this work, there will be a brief outage (approx 1 minute) of the H: drive (odd-numbered usernames only) and Strathcloud.


    This will take at 9pm on Sunday 7 June and Monday 8 June.

    Pegasus and related Corporate systems will be shutting down at 17:00 on Thursday 12th Nov until Monday 16th Nov 23:00 to allow for a major Pegasus database upgrade.  

    This will impact on the Strath mobile app services and some services on the app will be unavailable.

    Class and Exam Timetabling systems are undergoing an essential system upgrade and will be unavailable over this time.

    Cached timetables for students will still be available on the app.


  • Turnitin At Risk At Risk

    Monitoring is now in place to check the Turnitin queue throughput and to clear the build up of queues.

    This is only impacting some students and your submissions will all get processed in due course.
