Essential maintenance will be carried out on Hitachi servers in the data centres on the 22nd and 25th May. This means a brief outage of 15 minutes for both the H and I drives in the evening of these dates at 8 pm. On the 22nd, PURE Research system and Strath cloud will also be impacted.

We have experienced a number of brief network outages on 17/18 May. While service is currently stable, we will be carrying out some emergency maintenance over the coming weeks. We do not expect any end user impact, but services must be regarded as "at risk".

We are reconfiguring the wireless environment, resulting in intermittent and extended periods of disruption to all wireless services on Tuesday 30th May.
While we expect the majority of work to be complete in the morning, there may continue to be disruption throughout the day.
We have scheduled this essential maintenance in alignment with University business requirements and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
